The animated adventures of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be coming to television every week starting next week, and you'll soon be able to also enjoy the theatrical Clone Wars movie in your own home! Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming to home video on November 11, as a single-disc DVD, two-disc Special Edition DVD, and -- the first for any Star Wars release -- a Hi-Def Blu-Ray release. The single and double-disc standard-definition versions both include the widescreen movie with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround EX sound, and with feature-length audio commentary.

In a Newsweek interview, George Lucas mentioned that 3D versions of the "Star Wars" films are still in the works but do not expect to see anything soon.

There's probably not a 30-something out there who doesn't hold some fond memory of the original Star Wars sheets from the 70s. You know them well: those cotton-blend sets depicting heroic Lukes, Leias and Wookiees against puffy white space-scapes. If you didn't have them on your own bed, you probably envied someone who did.

New Agreements Begin This Month for Collectible Replica Clothing and Armor
Fans and collectors will find new lines of collectibles from Museum Replicas and their new licensing division Windlass Studios in 2008; it was announced today by Museum Replicas. Lucas Licensing’s STAR WARS replica clothing and armor licensee will assume the design and production of the high-end, collectible ensembles and full sets of the iconic armor including stormtrooper and bounty hunter armor.

Be very careful when opening up the Star Wars: A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy by Matthew Reinhart -- at bookstores now from Scholastic -- or you may find yourself face to face with a ferocious rancor monster, a charging AT-AT and Darth Vader himself.

America voted, and the U.S. Postal Service will deliver the intergalactic results on Oct. 25, when an image of 900-year-old Jedi Master Yoda will be dedicated as a sheet of 20 stamps in New York City at Madison Square Garden.
